Holiday Challenge Extravaganza Card and a Sneak Peek!

Happy Monday y'all!! about Happy "Really Hard to Get Out of Bed After 5 Day's Off" Monday???

Phew, I didn't think my eyes would ever open this morning! I have been staying up late and getting up late for my whole Christmas vacation. I had to hit the snooze 5 times this morning and I still didn't have time to do my makeup and had to carry it to work! It was rough, I tell ya;)

Here is a card I made for Maren's Holiday Extravaganza Challenge:
(I used my new camera that is WAY too technologically advanced for me, sorry the pic isnt great!)
I used Butterfly Beauty and Simply Said to make this card and some SU! paper available very soon called Raspberry Tart!

Check out the challenge HERE!!
Here is a little sneaky peeky of the January Kit of the Month!

I can't wait for you to get it;)

I am busy in my stamp room (well when I am not at work at this desk...) working on setting up the storage cubes I got for Christmas! I got 6 from my sister in law and 2 from Rachel! I think I need about 4-6 more to get everything in them so I will try to get 1 or 2 every time they are on sale and i'll be ready to go soon enough!

I took some before pictures of my stamp room last night and it is at it's VERY worst, you will not beleive it. I can't wait to show you those and the after photos!

Rachel bought me a little sewing machine for Christmas. She knew I wanted one since I was talking about it so much, she's such a good listener! She got me the Singer Pixie Plus from the Home Shopping Network when it was on sale. I have seen on SCS that the Janome is the only way to go but I am going to give this machine a chance and since it's all I have ever had, I really have nothing to compare it to do I ;) I'll let you know how it works if I can ever get the nerve up to take it out of the box...apparently sewing scares me!
Have a fabulous day!

This and That and a Family Visit

Just a little of this and a little of that because I have no stamping to share but wanted to talk to y'all anyway:)

My sister, brother in law and my neices were here for 3 days all the way from Italy. They left Friday night/Saturday morning at 1:30 am and I was so sad, I cried all night and all day yesterday. I am just now coming out of my funk and feeling somewhat normal. It was an unexpected visit so I wasnt ready for all of these emotions...

I miss them so much and it hurts so bad to be away from them. My sister is my best friend in the whole world, my brother (we dont use the "in-law" part cause were tight like that) is the best guy ever and my neices are just like my own children, only better because I don't have to deal with them after I spoil them ROTTEN!

{Me, Mike and Cadence}
I got to meet my neice Payton who is 10 months old now and I hadn't met yet. OMG she is such a doll, so adorable! And my neice Cadence who is my other little bff...she is an angel and the light of my life, I swear, I would do anything for that girl.
{me and Payton}

I was wondering if it's more painful to have seen them and now miss them again or to not have seen them at all for another year...I think it was definitely better to have seen them now! Even though it wasnt long enough it was well worth the sadness I felt when they left.
{Payton and her mommy}
Cadence really likes taking pictures of herself...I think she gets it from her cousin Rachel;)
I have about 50 pictures on my camera like this sweet!

I'll be back with some stamping SOON, I promise!!
And while you are waiting there are some WONDERFUL Holiday Extravaganza Challenges going on at SCS! I am hosting one in a couple of days ;)

Hip Hop Thursday!

Glad you hopped by!!

No matter what you do today BE SURE TO GET TO ANGELA'S BLOG for all the fabulous specials for today's Hip Hop and maybe some new releases, too ;)

So, I am having some SERIOUS stamping issues!! I use my blender pens for pretty much everything I make and I don't have any right now! I had a brand new one last week...left it open on my desk for days and days and it's dry as a bone. I am in quite a pickle! I have some on order so until then I have to use my aquapainter and I am not used to using it so I could only come up with one card this week. I am sure when the blender pens come my MOJO will be in the box with them! {that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!}

This sweet little birdie is from Birds of a Feather and she is all dressed up and ready for Christmas!
Now hop on over to see Christi, one of the craftiest girls I know!!

Hip Hop!!!!!!

Hi Hip Hoppers!! Thanks for hopping over from Heather's blog. Don't you just love her??? I do:)

Be sure to start your Hop at the Unity Stamp Company blog! That's where you will find all of the specials for today!!

My 1st item to share with you is one that I am so proud of! It's rare that I make something and absolutely LOVE it! We are, afterall, our own worst critics, and I am no exception. But this ornament is going to be something that my grandma in CT is going to love more than anything I have ever given her! My husband is afraid she'll cry too much....but it will be a happy cry. I can't wait for her to get this!

I used a 4 in. round chipboard coaster for the base and covered it in Basic Grey Wassail paper.
I used Birds of a Feather for the sentiment and the cute mittens are from the December Kit of the Month. Added a few little touches of ribbon and gold string and it came together REALLY fast, like 10 minutes or less. I love quick and easy stamping!

This Christmas Cupcake card is one that a certain person should be recieving today in her Unity Secret Santa package! I can't wait for her to get her surprises!!! OMG she is going to flip when she gets it!!My Christmas Cupcake card uses Ginormous Sweet Cupcakes! This is one adorable, fun kit to use, I am lovin' it!!

Now off you go to Laura's blog to see if it is the end of the rainbow...or not!

And don't forget to Hip Hop with us in the Unity SCS Hip Hop Forum...all day and night for tons of prizes!!
