One Last Valentine and BIG Blog Candy!

Here is the Valentine's Day card I whipped up for Mike last night right before we went to dinner. It took me about 5 minutes to make, maybe 4...No stamping required either. I used a new Simply Scrapping kit I got from SU!

He loved it so that's all that mattered and I didn't have to use a precious envelope...gotta love that. Just slip it into his sock drawer so he gets it when he gets out of the shower...viola, 1 envelope saved;)
(I'm so lame!)

I have 2 blog candy giveaways for y'all!!

The 1st is these 2 frames and the pink bag you see:

The frames I bought thinking I was crafty and would one day make adorable gifts for my mom and dad or for Rachel to give to Mike or whatever...never happened. The bag, I just had to have and it has the tag on it still....I had grand ideas to put cards in it and fancy it all up and carry it to stamp with friends....well I don't stamp with anyone so it has gone unused.

I hope that someone out there can be crafty with these 3 things....If you want to win them here's what you have to do: Tell me your plans for these items! Maybe it will give me some great crafty ideas to use myself :)
Kepp reading...there's one more giveaway!

The 2nd blog candy giveaway is full of some stuff I have extra of..I actually could give away 5 times this but I thought i'd save some for another time...yes I love to shop ok? I bought this SU! 1 1/4 circle punch because I forgot I already had one...yes I shop and don't even know I do it!!

  5. I just signed up to stalk er follow you. Won't you do the same for me?

    Love your hubby's card.

I would give the frames to my daughter as she likes really unique frames and since she has done some scrapping, I'm sure she will put them to good use.

The bag I would keep for myself to take to craft fairs and shows to hold my "stuff" I buy.

I could certainly use more paper and ribbon and I do not have a round punch so that would come in very handy.

  7. Hi Jimmi,

I love your blog and am already a follower! I love your valentine card! I love the colors & the layout. I have added it to my sketch book to try out. I may end up using this layout for my baby anouncements or thank-you cards. I haven't gotten the big shot die. . . yet but I may have to break my no spending streak (we are having a baby boy in within the next 5-7 weeks so all extra money is to go to baby.

I do also need that 1 1/4 punch. While working on invatations for a friend mine was broken.

Oh well, I probabbly wont win either prize anyway. But thanks for all the great inspiration that you share!

    : )

  8. Oh Jimmi, you are so fun! Of course I'd love to follow you everywhere... but isn't that called stalking? *gasp!* LOL

I just signed up as a follower. And of course I love the card you made for your hubby. I also love giving cards in person... not only do you get to see their reaction, but you save a "precious" envelope!

  10. Okay - it's now official that I am a follower (even though I checked in often before!).
Oh the bag... I love pink! I'd use it when going to my boy's sporting events. Our school colors are green & white so I'd embellish it with those colors too. I love green and pink together! I would make it to match my altered book that I made to keep scores & details in from all of their games.
The frames would get put to good use too since each has 5 openings and we have 5 kids. I'd jazz up the daddy for my dh for fathers day so he could proudly hang it in his "man cave" (garage). I'd put the mom one in my scraping space with pictures of me & my guys.
Thanks for always having such awesome and inspiring ideas! :)

  15. If I were to win the Mommy & Daddy picture frames, I would use them both to dedicate to my parents; so many frames/pictures, and scrapbook pages I have in my house are of me and my kids and their lives. It is time for them to see their Mom as a child with her parents. Since my Dad passed away, it would also be a tribute to him and would become a "memory" frame of the fun times he and I shared. My Mom is alive and kicking thank God, so hers would be my favorite photos of her.

Of course the pink photo bag would HAVE to be used for photos my four children - after all, ALL Moms want pictures of their kids with them no matter where they go ~ So, there are my thoughts for the 3 prizes.

Your Valentine's card was gorgeous, but then everything you create is pretty -- I follow your blog and have to admit I check it daily for ideas or just to be nosy and see the creations you share with your loyal followers ~ Keep on creating!

  18. I think you made a great Valentine card, it is awesome and no time at all to make.
I would love to have the punch also, like everyone else. I have the 1 3/8 punch right now, was ordering 1 1/4 punch the next order. I like the pink bag, but my daughter would take if from me if I won it. She is a bag freek. Always looking for those kind of bags. The frames would make nice accents in any room with the grand kids pictures. Thank You for the chance to win. I will check and see if I am a follower and if not I will sign up to be.

  22. I think it is amazing that you could whip out a fantastic card in minutes.
I check your blog everytime I sign on the computer, so having the reminder just gives me more to delete in my emails and takes away time to visit blogs.
I try to keep my favorite list short so your blog is one of a select few I consistantly enjoy visiting. Blog candy is fun but even without the chance, your blog is worth visiting.
